The band rehearses once a week (Monday evenings) from 8 – 10pm at The Chestnut Woodlands Forest School in Moira.
We are a hard-working and friendly band and are looking for reliable players to complete our line-up. We have a sensible diary with a good mix of concerts and contests throughout the year.

The Gresley Colliery Brass Band announces the resignation of Craig Stevens from his role as Musical Director, marking the end of a distinguished nine-year tenure.
Craig has tendered his resignation to pursue a new musical opportunity. While the band is saddened by his departure, we extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for success in his new appointment.
During his time with Gresley Band, Craig has been instrumental in shaping the musical direction and spirit of the ensemble. His leadership has brought about significant artistic growth, numerous accolades, and unforgettable performances that have enriched both the band and the wider community.

The band will begin the search for a new Musical Director in the coming weeks and remains committed to continuing its tradition of musical excellence.
