Modern brass bands are incredibly versatile and can fine tune a programme to suit almost any event. The band has access to over 1000 pieces of music ranging from traditional marches and overtures to modern big band and pop/rock arrangements.

The band can also offer a bespoke service where music for an occasion can be specifically tailored and arranged.

Gresley Colliery Band are also able to offer a number of alternative ensemble sizes based on your specific requirements including a 10 piece brass ensemble ideal for weddings etc.

2012/13 Fees:-

The average cost of hiring the band is approximately £350 - this is a typical cost for a 2-hour programme engaging full band on a week-night or during the weekend. The costs vary depending on the type of event, location, music required, time and number of players required.

Any fee charged is a contribution to the running costs of the band. We are an amateur organisation with no 'professional' players and the Band is entirely self-funding.
